At CSPS, our approach to numeracy is informed by evidence-based practices and the Victorian Department of Education’s Mathematics Position Statement and aligned with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model and Victorian Curriculum 2.0 (VTLM 2.0).

Across Prep – 6, students develop mathematical understanding, fluency, problem solving and reasoning, with opportunities to apply their learning to meaningful and real-world contexts.

Through ongoing assessment and responsive teaching, we meet students at their point of need, providing targeted support, practice and appropriate challenge so every student can become a confident and capable mathematician.
