Harmony Day

Harmony Day was held on Tuesday the 21st March which coincided with the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. During the week, students discussed Harmony Day and did some Harmony Day activities in their classroom to create awareness of the wonderful cultural diversity we have in Australia. On Harmony Day, students and teachers wore a splash of orange and orange creations were displayed around the school. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. These are values we believe in passionately and uphold with pride at CSPS.
