As families know, at CSPS we have a strong focus on the importance of attendance at school. Every day and every minute matters.
In the upcoming weeks throughout Summer, please refrain from keeping your children at home on hot days.
All learning spaces in the school have air conditioning.
When the UV index or weather conditions warrant, we limit the amount of time outside during recess or lunch.

Sue Fiala, our First Aid Officer, keeps us all informed as to ways we can support and protect ourselves in the heat, for examples:
• Drink plenty of water
• Keep cool eg. Seek out air-conditioned buildings, use a fan, dress in light, loose clothing
• Plan ahead eg. Schedule activities in the coolest part of the day and avoid exercising in the heat.
• Outside protection; wear a hat and sunscreen and take a bottle of water with you.

I look forward to students attending school and reaching great heights in their learning.
