Coal Creek Excursion 2016
On Monday, 2nd May, Junior School students visited Coal Creek Village. Students got to take part in an old fashioned school class that involved writing on old slate boards and learning about the strict rules students had to follow 100 years ago. They visited Barb in the General Store who told them all about shopping in the olden days. Students loved watching the “flying fox” sending money back and forth to the cashier. Another activity was to make their very own “dolly peg” doll. The Junior School would like to thank all the wonderful parents who came along and helped out on the day. Also a big thank you to Mrs Williams for all your hard work organising this awesome excursion!
