Education Week
During Education Week, staff and students at CSPS participated in an array of activities celebrating all that we do for our health and wellbeing. We all enjoyed a community lunch “under the rotunda”, did some mindfulness and yoga, enjoyed some old school aerobics with Mrs Burke and watched the fabulous culmination of the Junior School Empowerment Projects. Scott, the golf pro from Settlers Run came down and ran some golf clinics for the Year 5 and 6 students.
The whole school read the fractured nursery rhyme, “The cow tripped over the moon”. Students had great fun publishing their own fractured nursery rhymes and creating posters promoting a healthy mind and body. Students also enjoyed completing a Maths Trail around the school grounds with their buddy classes. It was great to get active and do some problem solving at the same time. Education week at Cranbourne South culminated in a whole school assembly. Thanks so much to Mrs Halket and the Community Engagement team for all of their support in organising a fabulous Education Week!
