Schools are often challenged with parking and traffic congestion but with your help, we can continue to make sure everyone is safe, particularly our students. Just a few reminders:
- The carpark is for CSPS employees ONLY.
- For safety reasons, adults delivering/picking up their children are not permitted to walk through this area. Please use the footpaths on either side of the old Multi Purpose Room to enter the school grounds.
- Driving through the staff carpark is prohibited.
- In the afternoon, the KISS and GO zone is not open until 3.30pm. Parking in the KISS and GO zone is prohibited.
- Parents who require special consideration are to discuss their needs directly with the Principal class (car details will be recorded for staff usage).
- To increase traffic flow, it is highly encouraged for drivers to turn LEFT when entering the carpark and LEFT when exiting.
- There are two staff members on carpark duty (8.45 – 9.00am, 3.30 – 3.45pm); one greeting/farewelling the students at the car, one at the footpath to ensure safe use by pedestrians.
- Any misuse or misbehaviour from adults (including road use as reported by the crossing supervisor) will be reported to the principal class to address accordingly.
- It cannot be stressed enough the importance for adults to behave well as they are role models to their children, as well as our community continuing to work together in solution finding rather than pessimism.
- Families who park illegally eg. at the Cranbourne South Store or along roads where parking spaces are not providing, park at their own peril. We highly discourage this behaviour.
- We continue to work with the City of Casey in relation to speed zones, signage within school grounds and disability spaces.
