Dear Parents/Carers
On Friday, 2nd November, CSPS responded to an incident that required the school to enact its student safety procedures and police to attend.
For about 90 minutes the school implemented a lock down procedure.
All children were safe and well, and following the brief interruption our school returned to normal daily routines.
While we are not able to disclose information about the particulars of this matter due to our privacy obligations, please note that we regularly practice these procedures, and I am pleased at the manner in which all staff and students quickly and maturely responded.
Students who may have witnessed some elements of the incident may want to discuss it at home. Support continues to be made available through the school for any students who may request or require it.
