At school we celebrate the efforts of our students by mentioning their participation in school events and their achievements in the school newsletter (Contact), occasionally photographs of the students and work samples are included. This year photographs of students and work samples will be placed on our school website. This site can be accessed by all members of the school and general public.
On our school website, there are work samples and images of students, but students are identified by name and class only.
We invite the local press to school events and they are expected to follow school policy on the publication of photographs of students. When a story is about an individual achievement, we will always seek your consent before passing information or photographs to the press for publication. Unless a story features an individual child, only group photos are published and students are identified by name and class only.
If you have any concerns about how photographs of your child may be used by the school, please let us know.
If you do not want photos of your child or samples of their work included on the school website or in any media forum, please complete the form below and return it to your classroom teacher. If you do not return this form it will be deemed that you have given permission for publication of photos etc. for your child.
If at any time during the year you change your mind and no longer give consent please sign the attached form and return it to the Office.
